Oldham-based Ultimate Products, the owner, manager, designer and developer of an extensive range of value-focused consumer goods brands, has launched the UP Virtual Showroom, a new initiative which provides the company’s customers with the full showroom experience from the safety of their own office or home.
The Ultimate Products showrooms, spread over 20,000 sq. ft in Oldham and 10,000 sq. ft in Cologne, play a crucial role in providing customers with a compelling physical showcase of the company’s wide range of products.
During the restrictions caused by COVID-19, the company has introduced an innovative way of remotely viewing its showrooms, thereby removing the need for customers to travel to an Ultimate Products site.
Meeting via videoconferencing technologies and using high-definition cameras and studio-quality lighting, customers are given a bespoke tour of the latest product ranges and are able to interact with the company’s expert sales advisors.
The initiative is proving extremely popular with customers, and showroom visits are now taking place more frequently than they were prior to the outbreak.
Jenny Stewart, Commercial Director of Ultimate Products, said: “We are delighted with the response that we’ve had to the UP Virtual Showroom, and our customers really appreciate the fact that it provides them with business continuity while removing the need to travel.
"While we love seeing our customers in person and look forward to being able to do so again in the future, this is a fantastic innovation that we envisage will remain popular even after the pandemic has subsided.”
