Oldham Business Awards
The winners of the Oldham Business Awards 2019 have been unveiled during a completely sold-out gala awards ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham on Friday night.
The great and the good of the business community were in attendance at the event, hosted by BBC News Presenter Louise Minchin and ITV’s Caroline Whitmore, which saw a whole host of companies nominated across a wide range of categories.
All tickets had been snapped up well in advance as the local business community came together to salute the very best of Oldham enterprise.
Steve Kilroy, OBA steering committee chair, said: "You don't realise just how diverse the Oldham business community is until nights like this. It's fantastic.
"Businesses in Oldham continue to go from strength to strength, and that's not just throughout the UK, it's worldwide too.
A brilliant spectacle was rounded off with a special recognition award, which this year went to Laura Smart of KPMG who is very familiar face on the Oldham business scene. The award recognised her work and dedication in supporting business growth in Oldham.
But it was those who came out on top who were celebrating deep into the night.
Now in it’s eleventh year, the Oldham Business Awards attracted a full house of nominees and their guests on Friday night who were also treated to an after party featuring Revolution 96.2’s Breakfast presenters Elliot and Di providing the music.
Judging panels, which include representatives of the category sponsors, reviewed all this year’s business award entries at the start of the year before shortlisting three finalists for each of the 11 categories.
Below is a full list of those who were nominated for the awards, along with those who the judging panel gave the awards to.
