Date published: 05 October 2018

Lees Village Service Station, the Gulf-branded forecourt on St John Street in Lees, has been nominated at SuperStation 2018, one of the most prestigious awards in petrol retailing.

This award-winning initiative by Certas Energy, the largest supplier to independent fuel retailers in Britain, is open to over 800 forecourts across the UK with each finalist chosen following a rigorous judging process.

“Our finalists are the flagship of our network and the petrol retailing industry, selfless individuals working tirelessly to provide the very best standards of customer service,” said Richard Billington, Retail Director, Certas Energy.

“We are proud to have each and every one of them as part of our Gulf network and there can be no doubt that Lees Village Service Station is a worthy finalist.”

Lees Village Service Station has been nominated in the Best Community Engagement category, in recognition of its deep sense of community and advocacy for numerous charitable causes such as the Macmillan Cancer Foundation.

Award winners will be announced in true Hollywood-style glitz and glamour at the SuperStation 2018 Awards Gala Dinner taking place at the Forest of Arden Golf and Country Club, Coventry, on October 11 at a gathering of forecourt champions, sponsors and leading industry suppliers.
