Podcasts really do help get the word out

Date published: 17 August 2018

Podcast.co has joined forces with Co-op Digital and The Federation to give Oldham and Manchester businesses the opportunity to revolutionise the way they communicate by making high-quality podcasts in a state-of-the-art environment.

The contemporary space, which is already being used to record popular shows like Tech For Good, gives tenants the chance to use studio-grade equipment and high-end recording facilities, making for a significantly more professional broadcast.

Those who rent the studio at The Federation have the option to hire a producer to oversee their work, while Podcast.co also offer podcasting solutions to businesses, including consultancy and production services, plus distribution to all the major networks like iTunes.

Podcasts are transforming the marketing landscape for businesses in the same way video did, and the Podcast.co team have become the go-to guys for brands and businesses looking to get into podcasting.

Sister company Radio.co lists the likes of UNICEF, Saatchi & Saatchi, United Nations, Vice Magazine and Primavera Sound amongst its prominent clients.

Podcast.co founder James Mulvany, who has spent the last 10 years at the forefront of the internet radio industry, said: “We are very excited about our partnership with the Co-op.

"It will benefit the business community in Manchester, and we can also look forward to hearing some new, fresh podcasts as more and more people start to populate the studio space.”

Meanwhile, Mr Mulvany and his colleague Mike Cunsolo, Marketing Manager at Podcast.co, are hosting the Manchester Podcasters Meet-up at the One & All event space at Federation House on August 21.

They will give a presentation on how to set up and start a podcast, followed by networking, pizza and beer, supplied by Podcast.co. The event runs from 4pm to 8pm.
