This year's Oldham Festival for Business kicks-off tonight (Tuesday) with an Open Mic Night at the Blue Tiffin Indian restaurant on Higginshaw Lane.
Organised by Asian business leaders and Oldham Enterprise Trust, the exciting event, which gets under way at 5.30pm, will provide a terrific networking opportunity.
The launch event is the first of many business-themed dates between tonight and June 7.
Tomorrow night sees popular local entrepreneur Frank Rothwell talking to students at a special invitation-only event at University Campus Oldham.
The Asian Leaders' Dinner takes place on Wednesday, May 9.
That event is in aid of the Mayor's Appeal and again takes place at the Blue Tiffin. Guest speaker is Maurice Watkins MBE, a rugby league legend and now well-known sports lawyer.

The already sold-out One Oldham Business Awards take place on Friday week, May 11, while on Wednesday, May 16, an EEF Employment Law Business Breakfast will welcome all at Oldham Library.
A Growth Hub Lunch takes place on Friday, May 25, before the Oldham Festival for Business wraps up on June 7 with 'Energise Oldham!' - an innovation event at Hack Oldham/Wayra
