Homelessness charity Emmaus Mossley is gearing up for a busy start to 2025 with several exciting charity events, including a new monthly social and a cabaret fundraiser.
Emmaus Mossley supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a home, companionship, tailored support and work opportunities.
The charity has announced dates for upcoming events including the launch of The Social Studio, the rescheduled Viva Las Emmaus Cabaret and the Emmaus Spring Fayre.
Launching in February, The Social Studio is a new monthly social event hosted at Emmaus Mossley on the first Thursday evening of each month.
The Studio Social events will revolve around a different hands-on activity, bringing people together to try something new, relax, improve their wellbeing, and meet new people.
For one night only, on Saturday, March 1 from 7pm, Emmaus Mossley will be transformed for a special cabaret show with a range of music, entertainment, food and mocktails.
The Viva Las Emmaus Cabaret is a charity fundraiser with all proceeds going towards the refurbishment of Emmaus Mossley’s communal kitchen and dining room.
The Emmaus Spring Fayre, scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 10am-4pm, will be a fun-filled day for charity shoppers and treasure hunters of all ages.
Emmaus Mossley’s Secondhand Superstore will be stocked up with seasonal items, fresh displays and sale items, alongside entertainment, tasty home-made food and drinks.
Hazel Hodkinson, Retail Manager at Emmaus Mossley, said: “Bringing people together in support of our charity, and each other, is an important part of the Emmaus Mossley ethos.
"We’re very excited to announce the dates of our upcoming charity events and look forward to welcoming friends, supporters and those new to Emmaus.
"Be sure to add these dates to your diary and we hope you’re able to attend to give your support.”
Limited tickets to The Studio Social and the Viva Las Emmaus Cabaret are now available online from the Emmaus website and Eventbrite.
