Steve's Team Hill Charitable Trust hosts joyful Christmas afternoon tea

The Mayor of Oldham Cllr Zahid Chauhan made a special visit, supporting Team Hill’s efforts in making a difference in the local community, and in Uganda
The festive spirit was in full swing on Sunday as Steve Hill's Team Hill Charitable Trust hosted its annual Christmas afternoon tea, bringing the local community together for an afternoon of Christmas cheer.
Held at St Anne’s Rugby Club, the event attracted over 130 attendees, all gathered to enjoy a festive afternoon filled with delicious treats, holiday cheer, and the shared goal of supporting the Trust’s vital work.
Guests were treated to an array of delicious sandwiches, homemade cakes, Prosecco and freshly brewed tea.
Adding a magical touch to the day, the Moorside Community Choir performed a selection of Christmas classics, delighting the audience with their talent and festive cheer.
Adding to the occasion, the Mayor of Oldham Cllr Zahid Chauhan made a special visit, supporting Team Hill’s efforts in making a difference in the local community and in Uganda.
Steve said: "Our Christmas afternoon tea is a wonderful way to celebrate the season, but more importantly, it’s an opportunity to bring the community together to support the essential work we do at Team Hill Charitable Trust.
"We are deeply grateful for everyone’s generosity and participation.”
The event raised vital funds which will go directly towards supporting schools in Uganda and providing support for local families in need.
Special thanks were extended to everyone who helped organize the event, as well as those who donated raffle prizes and cakes.
Team Hill Charitable Trust continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many, and events like the Christmas afternoon tea highlight the power of community in making a difference.
