Car and driver flee after crashing into Oldham town centre church wall

This was the scene outside the United Reformed Church building on Union Street in Oldham town centre yesterday morning (Sunday) after a car struck the wall of the building.
The driver and car - believed to be a Vauxhall - apparently fled after the collision.
Ruth Wollaston - the head of the church - reported that she came out of the church to all this damage.
Police attended and are now investigating as they bid to track down the driver.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We are investigating a collision whereby a car is reported to have collided with a wall on Union Street, Oldham.
"The driver left the scene after the collision.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward by calling 101 quoting log 1292 of 13/10/24."
