Second man charged and due in court following shocking attack on 87-year-old

Greater Manchester Police detectives have now charged a second man after an attack on an 87-year-old man.
Azizur Rahman (aged 39) from Oldham has been charged with, kidnap, robbery, Section 18 assault, intentional strangulation, threats to a person with a bladed article, perverting the course of justice and threats to kill.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Tameside Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
Shohad Miah (24) from Royton was also charged with kidnap, grievous bodily harm, robbery and intentional strangulation, on Tuesday, September 24, in relation to this incident.
This latest charge relates to an incident which saw an 87-year-old man forced into a car in Oldham, attacked, and thrown out on a dark road in West Yorkshire.
