A scene from Tuesday morning's search
On Tuesday morning, just as most of us were getting to work, Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called by Greater Manchester Police who had been contacted by a cyclist who had become lost on the moors in the Dovestones area.
‘Phone Find’ technology pin-pointed him at various points around the Ashway Moss area.
A small team was dispatched up the hill.
Not far from the top, he was found waiting for the team.
He was guided back down the hill to continue his ride back home.
Nine team members were involved for over an hour.
