Oldham man charged with firearm offence

Detectives in Oldham have charged a local man with a firearm offence.
Mohammed Muktar Raji (aged 21), of Mansfield Road, has been charged with possession of a firearm.
He has been remanded into custody to next appear at Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court on September 20, 2024.
The charge comes after an investigation by Oldham Challenger after police officers located a suspected firearm in the Glodwick area of Oldham.
