Oldham Mountain Rescue Team welcomed Natalya Kennedy and Derby Mountain Rescue team for refreshments half way into her gruelling cycle challenge.

Natalya's cycling fundraiser consists of a 246km off road route linking the seven Peak District Mountain Rescue Teams bases, all within 24 hours.

Starting at Derby's team base at midnight, Nat and her crew made it to Oldham’s HQ amazingly just after 10am, looking very fresh and ahead of schedule.

After a short stop to refuel, Nat headed onwards towards Glossop for her next stop.

Mountain Rescue is a charity largely funded by donations, fundraisers and grants.

Funds raised by this epic challenge will go towards kitting out Derby MRT's much-needed new base.

She visited Edale Mountain Rescue Team, Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team, Oldham Mountain Rescue Team, Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, Kinder Mountain Rescue Team and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team.

Nat has had a number of people ride with her for sections of the route and a great support team.

She is raising funds for the team’s new base at Mackworth.
