'Departures' film project is set to to shine a light on Oldham's emerging talent

An Oldham-based film - 'Departures' - is set to captivate audiences and shine a spotlight on the working-class talent of the town's entertainment industry.
Renowned actress Sarah Byrne, known for her memorable roles in 'Shameless' and 'Hollyoaks', has embarked on the inspiring venture.
She is spearheading the new feature film project based in Oldham, one that not only promises to entertain but also serves as a platform for nurturing emerging talent.
What would appear to set this project apart is Sarah's commitment to mentorship and fostering the next generation of actors through her esteemed Sarah Byrne Academy.
