To celebrate the Latics chairman and co-owner's fantastic Atlantic rowing achievement, the club will be hosting 'An Evening With Frank Rothwell' on Thursday, April 25.
Doors will open at 7pm for a night of stories, anecdotes, insights, as well as a live Q&A.
Frank will detail his Atlantic fundraising journey from start to finish, talking about the highs of setting off, doing 70km days, and arriving in Antigua.
He’ll also give an open and honest view on capsizing twice and the tough, lonely days at sea.
There will be a series of raffles and auctions, with all money raised from the night going to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Royton.
Dr Kershaw’s provide free, specialist, end-of-life and palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses.
Frank will be being interviewed by BBC North West Tonight’s Kevin Fitzpatrick.
Tickets are £25 for adults and £15 for under 14s, which includes pie and peas.
To secure your place on the night, visit: drkh.org.uk/Frank, or call their fundraising team on 0161 624 9984.
Meanwhile, Latics have confirmed that the postponed National League fixture away at Halifax has been rearranged for Wednesday, April 10, kick-off 7.45pm.
The original fixture on March 12 was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Tickets purchased for the original fixture are valid for the new one next month.
