Police officers are appealing for information in connection with a vehicle robbery in Oldham.

At around 2:30pm on Wednesday (January 31), a victim was pushed and had her car keys stolen whilst walking to her car on Raleigh Close in Oldham.

The suspect then got into the victim's car - a silver Corsa - and drove away in the direction of Henshaw Street in Oldham.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately in his 30’s, bald, of medium build and height and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie.

The victim's car was recovered yesterday by police on Plumpton Lane in Oldham, off Sheepfoot Lane.

There are indications that it may have been driven erratically due to the damage found on the vehicle.

Police are now appealing to the public for information in connection with the robbery on Raleigh Close.

Police are also appealing to anyone who may have seen the silver Corsa being driven erratically - or it being abandoned on Plumpton Lane - to make a report.

Anyone with information or footage - including CCTV, mobile or dashcam - should call 101 quoting log 2076 of 31 January 2024.
