Selection box treats are heading to children in hospital thanks to warm-hearted Heyside

Warm-hearted Heyside Football Club players and coaches have been busy spreading Christmas cheer among poorly children at the Royal Oldham hospital.
"A community football club giving back to the community is what it’s all about," revealed a Heyside FC Facebook page post.
"Today a few of our coaches and players had the pleasure of donating 100 selection boxes to the Royal Oldham Hospital Children’s A&E department for any child who finds themselves in hospital over the Christmas weekend.
"We hope all the children get better soon and we wish them a Merry Christmas.
"We also wish to thank all the staff for their continued hard work and dedication.
"We didn’t forget you, choccys and biscuits for you also."
Heyside FC is an FA Charter Standard Club, affiliated by the Manchester County FA.
Established since 1975, the club boasts more than 35 teams of males and females, at all ages.
