Get involved with the Latics Volunteer Group

You might be able to help with tasks such as cleaning, fixing and fitting seats, painting steps, or even just keeping the stadium tidy
Have you got some spare time to help Latics?
Would you be interested in assisting the maintenance team with tasks around Boundary Park?
If so, the club wants to hear from you.
Latics are pleased to confirm that club is setting up a volunteer action group following positive feedback from supporters interested in the idea.
You might be able to help with tasks such as cleaning, fixing and fitting seats, painting steps, or even just keeping the stadium tidy.
The club is also keen to hear from retired or semi-retired supporters with backgrounds in manual labour careers, who might be able to assist with duties such as plumbing or joinery.
Ultimately, the idea is to support the current maintenance structure, allowing them to spend more time and resources on bigger, more difficult projects, without neglecting the other important tasks, which impact supporters on a weekly basis.
Everyone connected with the club loves Boundary Park and Latics are looking for supporters who can show their pride in helping maintain their home.
The club wants the group to develop a sense of belonging, with volunteers who will enjoy working together and foster a community spirit.
As well as helping the club, the supporters involved will be provided with refreshments and an area relax in between activities, where they can meet fellow supporters and make new friends.
They will also receive a free ticket for home matches.
Initially, the club will be opening its doors to volunteers for a couple of hours on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
Should the initiative prove successful, it would then be expanded, allowing Latics Volunteer Group to have more of an impact on the club.
If you’re interested in joining Latics Volunteer Group, please email: mark.sheridan@oldhamathletic.co.uk or call in at the club main entrance on Furtherwood Road to fill out a form.
Meanwhile, back on the field, Latics' National League fixture at home against Boreham Wood has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 9, kick-off 7.45pm.
The match at Boundary Park was originally due to take place last weekend but was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Tickets which were purchased for the original game will be valid for the rescheduled date.
Alternatively, refunds are available by emailing: supporter.services@oldhamathletic.co.uk
