Axe attack in Failsworth home - police are seeking this man

Greater Manchester Police officers are appealing for information after a person was assaulted by an unknown man in their home in Failsworth.

At approximately 5.45 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023, a man rushed behind a person as they were opening the door to their home in Failsworth.

He pushed inside to gain entry and proceeded to tie up the victim, threatened them with an axe and demanded money.

The offender searched the home and robbed personal belongings.

Luckily, the victim did not suffer any serious injuries.

Officers are now appealing to anyone who knows who the male in the picture may be as he is believed to have information to assist lines of enquiries.
