The 'Chaddy roar' is set to return to Boundary Park this Saturday

Date published: 18 September 2023

For the first time in over six years, home supporters will be able to cheer Latics on from the Chadderton Road End this Saturday.

The club has confirmed that, for the fixture against Oxford City at Boundary Park (September 23, 3pm), fans will have the opportunity to return to the stand.

Latics chiefs want to give the players the benefit of a backing from behind both goals so they will be allowing supporters to return by initially opening the middle section of the stand.

The game will be used as a trial to look at the viability of having home supporters in the stand, in addition to the opposing Rochdale Road End.

Admission

Supporters with a season ticket can use their existing card to access the stand and do not need to request a change of ticket.

Supporters who do not have a season ticket can buy a ticket for the Chaddy End online at: tickets.latics.co.uk

Tickets are also available in person at the ticket office or by calling 0161 785 5150.

Supporters without a season card are encouraged to buy a ticket in advance but pay on the day will be available at the turnstile.

Entry

Supporters can gain entry via turnstiles 36-39 in the corner of the Chaddy End and the Joe Royle Stand.

Please note that turnstiles 3-8 on Furtherwood Road will be used for away supporters to access the Main Stand paddock.

Supporters, though, are required to buy a ticket from the seating plan and all tickets will be unreserved.

Supporters will be situated in the central, lower block behind the goal, with further blocks being made available if necessary.

An announcement will be made if the stand will be open for any further matches.
