Action Together have been working with Gatherwell, an ethical Community Lottery provider, to develop a Community Lottery for Oldham.
And from today (Tuesday), tickets for the Oldham Community Lottery will be available.
Community organisations within the borough of Oldham have registered as Good Causes in the Oldham Community Lottery, with organisers hoping to use this fantastic new channel as a fundraising opportunity, allowing you to give locally and with ease.
You can sign up to play the Oldham Community Lottery and select which registered good causes you would like to support, and these organisations will receive proceeds from the ticket sales.
You will be entered in weekly draws at just £1 per ticket, and 60% of each pound will go towards supporting these good causes.
All good causes will be based in Oldham Borough, meaning participants can directly support charities and voluntary organisations in their communities.
Not only can you support local organisations making a difference to the Oldham community, but you can also be in with a chance of winning the £25,000 jackpot each week!
The first draw will take place on August 19, 2023, and then will be followed by a weekly draw with winners announced each Saturday.
