Billingtons chosen as a showcase venue for ITV’s The Voice UK 2024

The former Billingtons Dance Academy building in Oldham

The lovingly renovated, century old urban building in the heart of Oldham town centre, previously known as Billingtons Dance Academy, has rapidly become a place to see and be seen.

Not least this August, when producers from ITV’s The Voice UK 2024 step into Billingtons where they will be keen to listen out for incredible Oldham talent – solo artists, duos, trios and groups of up to eight people.

Krzysztof Zemlik, owner of the building which holds so much history for the people of Oldham, said: “We are absolutely honoured and thrilled that producers of ITV’s The Voice have chosen Billingtons to host a showcase and we look forward to hearing the artists taking part.

"Word is spreading quickly, and we already have interest from hopeful applicants.

"The Showcase will take place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

"If you think you have what it takes please book your place now if you are not booked in you will not be able to take part. If you would like to be in audience and watch the Showcase we would be delighted to see you at Billingtons from 6.30pm ready for the 7pm live event.”

You will need to prepare one song with a backing track/instrument.

All backing tracks /instruments must be provided by you.

Backing tracks will need to be on an electronic device/speaker.

The Showcase is the first step on a long road but if you don’t take that step, you will never know if you might have been the one to “turn a chair!”
