Date published: 30 June 2023

The MS Society is inviting all people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the Oldham and District area to join them at their information and discussion event next Thursday (July 6) at the Honeywell Centre, on Hadfield Street in Oldham.

The free event will share information about the work of the group, with a guest speaker from Citizens Advice on claiming PiP and other benefits.

There will also be information on the importance of power of attorney and will making.

More than 5,000 people live with MS in the across Greater Manchester, with over 400 of these in Oldham.

It damages nerves in your body and makes it harder to do everyday things, like walk, talk, eat and think.

The Oldham group offer services to support and enable this community including reflexology, social activities, exercise classes, counselling, grants and information on living well with MS.

Light refreshments will be provided free of charge.

The venue is ground floor and fully accessible. Free parking is available onsite.
