Details regarding the funeral for the pregnant mum-of-two who died following a car crash on the M66 earlier this month have been announced.

On Saturday (May 13) at around 3:10pm, police were called to reports of a serious collision between two vehicles travelling southbound on the M66 near Bury.

Frankie Hough from Chadderton was left with serious injuries after the crash.

Frankie, her two sons, Rocky, two, Tommy, nine, and her nephew, Tobias, four, were taken to hospital by air ambulance after the crash took place between Pilsworth Interchange and Simister Island.

Tragically, Frankie died in hospital days later as a result of her injuries.

In a public post on social media, Frankie's sister, Becci Welby, said a special service will be held to "celebrate the life of my beautiful sister Frankie and baby Neeve".

The service is to be held at Blackley Crematorium on Friday week, June 9, at 10.30am.

Becci added that attendees can "come as you feel comfortable as this is a celebration of her life and spirit".

"Lots of colour welcome," she posted.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene of the May 13 crash on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Adil Iqbal (aged 22), of Hope Street in Accrington, has been charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Iqbal will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on June 19.
