Saddleworth Tuesday Walkers are a social walking club started by Bob Tait back in 1994.
The club consists of two groups who meet every Tuesday for walks around the local area.
The walkers started their last walk with a visit to Oldham Mountain Rescue Team HQ in Greenfield.
The group had a tour of the base, looking at the vehicles and rescue equipment.
The tour was completed with guests being given a short history of the Team, which celebrates it’s 60th anniversary next year.
As long-time supporters of OMRT, the walkers have raised around £16,000 for the Team over the years.
This ongoing support is greatly appreciated and helps the Team provide assistance to the many people who find themselves in the unfortunate position of needing help.
