Greater Manchester Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin, who was last seen in January, 2022.
Alisha (aged 24), from Ashton, was reported missing on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 by her grandmother who had not heard from her and was concerned for her welfare.
On receiving the report an immediate missing persons investigation was launched.
Following a number of lines of enquiry, this missing person search was elevated to a murder investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Liam Boden, of GMP, said: "We are continuing the search for Alisha and the investigation into her disappearance.
"We can confirm that Alisha travelled as a passenger in a vehicle to the Bishop Auckland area, County Durham on Friday, January 14, 2022.
"She was later seen travelling in the same vehicle on Saturday, January 22, 2022, leaving Glossop towards Chapel-en-le-frith in Derbyshire.
"Alisha has not been seen or heard from since.
“A year has passed now and still Alisha has not been seen by family, friends and loved ones and as the investigation continues it is believed that she may have come to serious harm.
“If you were around the Glossop, Chapel-en-le-frith or Buxton areas of Derbyshire around Saturday, January 22, 2022 and have any information, please contact police immediately.
"If you know anything, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, it may be the missing piece we need in our investigation to find Alisha."
