Date published: 31 January 2023

Greater Manchester Police's Oldham Neighbourhood Crime team are continuing to investigate the burglary of a property on Rose Hey Lane in Failsworth.

The incident is believed to have taken place on Friday, September 30, 2022, between midnight and 8am, during which a Volkswagen Transporter was stolen along with two bicycles and electrical items, including a computer.

After a number of enquiries, detectives are now in a position to appeal to the public for additional information and want to speak to the man pictured, who they believe may be able to help with their investigation.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Adshead, of Oldham’s CID, said: “We’ve conducted a number of enquiries around this burglary and although no arrests have been made, we are aware it occurred during a spike in related offences in the Failsworth area.

“We’re now appealing to members of the community if they have any further detail they can share that may help our ongoing investigation.

“This can be done by ringing the Oldham Neighbourhood Crime team directly on 0161 856 4521, 101 quoting incident 660 of 30/09/22, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
