Pedestrian suffers serious injuries in Hollins Road collision

A vehicle travelling along Hollins Road, towards the junction with Limeside Road, collided with a 51-year-old pedestrian crossing Hollins Road
Police officers have appealed for information after a collision on Hollins Road in Oldham at the weekend.
At around 06:45am on Saturday morning (January 21), officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision.
A vehicle travelling along Hollins Road, towards the junction with Limeside Road, collided with a 51-year-old pedestrian crossing Hollins Road.
The driver remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The injuries sustained by the male pedestrian are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
He remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident - or may have dashcam or doorbell footage - to please share it with Greater Manchester Police.
