The Saddleworth Tractor Group are celebrating raising more than £2,000 for charity, after their festive Christmas Eve run.

The group brought a travelling dash of joy and excitement across the community and a magical cash windfall for a deserving charity.

A convoy of tractors, big and small, draped in creative sets of lights, began their run from the Diggle Hotel and visited Dobcross Square, King Street, Delph, High Street, Uppermill, The Royal George and The Clarence, Greenfield, returning to The Diggle Hotel via Chew Valley Road and Uppermill.

The hardworking group have revealed they raised £2,135 for The Salvation Army.

They've hailed it a magnificent community-backed effort.
