Partners invited to share their views and experiences of local maternity services

Date published: 28 December 2022

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), in partnership with Healthwatch Oldham, Healthwatch Rochdale and Action Together, have created an important survey with the aim to gather the views and feedback from partners* who have supported birthing people to access local maternity services.

This can include attending prenatal appointments, post-natal appointments, labour and delivery.

*Partners – this can also be a family member, carer, doula etc.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is England's independent regulator of health and adult social care.

They ensure that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.

They monitor, inspect and regulate services and publish their findings.

Where they find poor care, they will use their powers to take action.

There is a chance to win £50 if you complete the survey, and staff will be hosting some focus groups on this subject where you can be paid £10 to get involved.
