Oldham Mountain Rescue Team members attended the Bolton, Middleton, Saddleworth and Stockport Rock Choir concert
Delighted members of Oldham’s heroes of the hills turned out for a special concert and received a welcome cash donation.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team members attended the Bolton, Middleton, Saddleworth and Stockport Rock Choir yesterday afternoon (Monday).
They were invited by Xander-Jaymes Le-Petit, the choir’s leader, to hear choir members from different areas rehearse under Xander's direction, in their respective areas, before coming together in Uppermill to stage an amazing afternoon of a wide variety of music.
Said OMRT team leader, Rob Tortoiseshell: “It was an incredible event and we are truly grateful for the invite and the donation of £290.38, raised through the raffle and gifts.
“We wish everyone in the choir, as well as all those who attended, a most wonderful Christmas and the very best wishes for 2023."
