This little fellow, who has captivated villagers' hearts from his beautifully decorated window in Delph, clearly needs a nap.
Adele Furlong, a resident who has only lived in Delph for a relatively short time, gets heavily involved in various themes throughout the year and decorates her High Street window to display various settings.
This year she has worked alongside Delph Wakeup Community to display "Delph Elf's" bedroom, where he will reside until he wakes up on December 3 to assist in turning on the Christmas lights.
But as you can see, he’s nodded off reading a book!
Adele ensures the lights are switched on from around 4-10 pm every night.
And, as a neighbour said: "Adele goes above and beyond to spread cheer within the village.”
