Community event will offer support for Oldhamers ahead of a tough winter

The event will offer help with information on all the services, groups and schemes that are available to help you through the cost of living crisis

The Your Primary Care Network for Oldham West are holding a community event to help support our community through this winter, be it with accessing support around food, heating, finances, and more.

A spokesperson for Your Primary Care Network, which consists of a group of local GP Practices, said: "We want to be able to provide you with information on all the services, groups and schemes that are available to help you through the cost of living crisis and what will be a very hard winter for many.

"We want to promote what is available and support you through the systems."

This will a free event for all to attend, and will take place at the EIC, 79 Manchester Road, Oldham, OL8 4LN, on December 3, between 11am-3.30pm.

The event is being organised by the Milltown Alliance Primary Care Network (PCN), Oldham West, which includes:

· Woodlands Medical Practice

· CH Medical Practice

· Block Lane Surgery

· Werneth Medical Practice

· Kapur Family Care

· Danson Family Practice

· Littletown Family Practice
