Three arrested as police pursuit follows Chadderton car theft

A car stolen from Chadderton was stopped and three males arrested after a police pursuit which ended in Ashton.
A post on the GMP Tameside North and East Facebook page read: "Whilst dealing with report of an attempt theft of a motor vehicle (moped) on Broaodak Road, the #AshtonHurst Neighbourhood Team spotted a vehicle driving past them which set the "Police Senses" off.
"PNC showed that the vehicle was reported stolen in #Chadderton, #Oldham.
"The stolen vehicle was spotted minutes later on Minto Street and failed to stop for officers on Oldham Road.
"The vehicle came to a stop on Brook Street East after a short pursuit.
"Three males aged 18, 19 and 20 from the Ashton-Under-Lyne area were arrested and have since been bailed pending further investigation."
