Lovers of German beer and fun should note Saddleworth’s OktoberPieFest is less than four weeks away.
The charity event organised by the generous-spirited Saddleworth Round Table has proven to be a hugely popular social fixture in the local event calendar.
Taking place on Saturday, October 15 at Saddleworth Civic Hall in Uppermill, the crowd-pulling event turns the venue into an authentic German Bier Halle, with the night taken away by The Jäger Maestros Oompah Band, who promise to have the crowd drinking, dancing and making sure their steins need a regular refill.
Authentic German lager will be provided on tap amongst other a available tipples and soft drinks, and a pie supper is included in the price making sure this is an evening NOT to be missed!
