Amy shows off her letter from the Queen
Ten-year-old Amy Ball enjoyed a perfect surprise after returning from her summer holiday - a message from Her Majesty The Queen!
Failsworth Primary School pupil Amy travelled to London with her family in the summer to join Queen Elizabeth II's 70th Jubilee celebrations.
Upon returning home from the capital, Amy then wrote to the Queen to congratulate her on her 70 years on the throne.
Amy's proud mum Linda said: "We had been on holiday for two weeks to Guadamar in Spain.
"Amy came back to a card and thank you for her well wishes from The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
"It was such a lovely surprise.
"There it was, with HRH on the stamp.
"This isn't the first time Amy has done this.
"She also wrote to Boris Johnson during lockdown, sending congratulations on his new baby, and she got a letter back."
