The Fitton Hill junior youth club celebrated its 21st birthday in some style!
The event, held on August 26, was staged at the neighbourhood centre in Fitton Hill.
The party was attended by young people who attend the youth club regularly and staff past and present.
Local councillors were also in attendance.
Donations were given by local supermarkets.
Janine Conway, a volunteer coordinator at the youth club and one of the original group of mums that started it up, said: "Originally we started the club in a bid to fill a void in youth service provision, and now we are one of the few remaining clubs left.
"We are all volunteers, and our aim is to provide a safe, fun environment for young people aged eight to 13 years to meet, socialise, participate in sports, enjoy arts and crafts, and dance to music."
The Fitton Hill junior youth club average 40 young people at its Friday sessions at 6.30pm till 8pm.
They only charge 30p on the door, money which goes towards running costs.
