GCSE results day: Big rewards for hard work at Oasis Academy

Elizabeth and Millie celebrated excellent GCSE grades
The wait for GCSE results is over as students across Oldham returned to school one final time to collect their GCSE grades.
Spirits were high for final year students at Oasis Academy Oldham as they look forward to taking their next steps today after securing some great results.
A number of students achieved superb individual results.
Congratulations to Millie who received 9,8,8,8,8,7,4 and D*2 grades, and Elizabeth who achieved 9,9,9,9,9,9,8,7, and will be going on to college.
A huge well done to Aysha (pictured below) who has achieved 9,9,9,9,9,9,9 D*2, to Rachel who has gained 9,9,9,9,8,8,8,6, and to Madina who scored 9,9,9,9,9,9,8,7 and D*2.
Marie Dillon, Principal at Oasis Academy Oldham, said: “Congratulations to our Year 11 students.
"They have all worked so hard in difficult circumstances, showing a real commitment to their studies – their reward is such wonderful results.
“At the Academy we are passionate about students having the opportunities and the support they deserve so that they can leave us with the qualifications they need to take the next step towards further study and fulfilling careers, and now they can do just that.
“Today is a day for our young people to enjoy their success, but just a word of thanks to our teachers and staff team who help our students every day, enabling them to do their very best.”
