GCSE results day: Hard work and resilience pays off at Royton and Crompton

There were some excellent GCSE results at Royton and Crompton today
Despite the challenges and disruptions over the last couple of years, the entire Royton and Crompton Academy community is brimming with pride today as staff and students celebrate some incredible GCSE results.
The hard work and commitment of both students and staff has ensured Year 11 students are leaving the academy with the results needed to achieve their aspirations and proceed onto their desired further education or employment journey.
The challenging circumstances only made Year 11 students at E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy more determined than ever to succeed, showing inspiring resilience and determination in their approach to learning, supported by a dedicated team who left no stone unturned when supporting students both academically and pastorally to achieve their full potential.
Royton and Crompton Academy staff are incredibly proud of all their students, with some outstanding performances from Harrison Scoltock, who achieved seven x Grade 9 and one x Grade 7 and Ashleigh Togaraseyi who secured three x grade 9, three x grade 8 and two x grade 7s.
They are both progressing onto A levels before reaching their desired university destination.
