Rescue Team chief salutes generous donation from the White Lion

Delighted members of Oldham Mountain Rescue Team have accepted a donation for £700 from the White Lion in Delph.
Landlord Alan Warrior and his team at the White Lion hold monthly food cruise events to raise money for charity, and OMRT were the nominated charity for a recent Spanish tapas evening.
Said the team leader, Rob Tortoiseshell: "We want to say a massive thank you once again to Alan and his team for their very generous and continued support of OMRT.”
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team is a voluntary organisation providing a professional rescue service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
They are funded almost entirely by generous public donations.
