It's been a five-star show for Hartley Botanic
Greenfield-based Hartley Botanic has won 5* for its ‘Calm & Wellbeing’ tradestand at this year’s RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
Tom Barry, CEO of Hartley Botanic, said: “The team have done a tremendous job on our Tatton Park tradestand, and that was during blisteringly hot conditions.
"Hartley Botanic has a particularly soft spot for Tatton as it is the closest RHS show to our factory in Lancashire so it is with especial pride to receive this 5* accolade.
"It is a pleasure to showcase our handmade structures in beautiful Cheshire and we hope our tradestand inspires visitors to recreate their own calm, sanctuary of wellbeing in their own Greenhouses and gardens.”
Hartley Botanic was founded in 1938 by brothers Vincent (RHS fellow) and Norman Hartley following their ground-breaking aluminium Greenhouse design, the first time (to the company's knowledge) aluminium had been used in Greenhouse construction and marking a huge improvement on its wood and wrought iron Victorian forerunners.
The local manufacturer is an authority on Greenhouse design and use over the decades, having been making its beautiful and elegant handmade, made-to-order horticultural buildings for over 84 years from its original factory at the base of the dramatic Pennines’ Chew Valley in Greenfield.
