The Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind (TOG Mind) charity officially hosted a grand opening of their new office and support spaces.
The official ribbon cut was carried out by local GP and strategic influencer Dr Keith Jeffery, who has supported the work of TOG Mind for many years, with help from Oldham Mayor, Elaine Garry.
Following this, everyone had the chance to tour the space, meet with staff, volunteers and partners, take part in a co design session and enjoy food, drinks and a reading from local children’s author Andrea Bowker.
Claire McGrath, Director at TOG Mind, said: “We are so happy that we have been able to showcase our local wellbeing support services.
"A lot of work has gone in to co-designing the space to provide a welcoming, calming and relaxing environment and we were thrilled to hear such positive feedback from those who visited.
"Our colourful sensory room was a big hit with our young people.
"The range of support available in Oldham for people of all ages is greater than ever and our aim is to continue to support our local communities to live well and achieve better mental health."
