Oldham Mayor opens Holts Post Office in new location

The Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Jenny Harrison and consort Cllr Shaid Mushtaq performed the official opening with new Postmaster is Mohammed Rushnaiwala.
Holts Post Office has re-opened in a new location, just 100 metres away from the original branch.
The Post Office has been moved to Holts Variety Store, 8 Near Birches Parade.

The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm, and Saturday: 9am – 4.30pm.
A wide variety of Post Office services are available including car tax renewal.
Dave Hunt, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored a full-time Post Office to Oldham, as we know how important Post Office services are to a community.”
The Post Office branch includes many banking services, such as bill payment, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.
Customers of the main high street banks can also access their accounts.
