An intrepid team of determined children have collected over 30 bags of litter during an Easter holiday litter pick in Oldham.
The litter pick was organised by St Joseph's School teacher Steve Hill, of the Team Hill Charitable Trust who had identified Bullcote Lane in Moorside as being particularly messy.
Steve recruited a team of all ages, including children from his class at school.
The pickers were in action across the weekend collecting over 30 bags of litter from the road.
Mr Hill told the Chronicle that the place now looks much tidier: "I’m so proud of everyone who turned out to pick up litter and make our local environment and much tidier place.
"It was especially great to see the young children getting involved too - absolute superstars. We now plan on taking on other parts of our town with a Team Hill monthly Litter Pick!”
