Three hour operation sees Hollins Road house fire brought under control

Fireman were forced to use breathing apparatus to bring a fire under control on Hollins Road in Oldham yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire Service told the Chronicle: “At 3.16pm on Tuesday, March 23, three fire engines from Oldham, Hollins and Chadderton were called to reports of a fire at a property on Hollins Road in Oldham.
“Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation unit to bring the fire under control.
"Fire crews were in attendance for approximately three hours.”
