Met Office issues Yellow Weather Warning for Greater Manchester

A yellow weather warning has been issued
The Met Office say we could see some disruption or flooding on Thursday and Friday.
The Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning covering all of Greater Manchester and other parts of North West England.
A yellow warning means heavy rainfall is likely to cause minor transport disruption and flooding.
What to expect
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
The weather warning remains in place until midnight on Friday 29 January.
Further East, and in parts of Scotland, a yellow alert for snow has also been issued, suggesting a risk to power and traffic.
