The virtual Santa Dash event is spread across a whole week
Despite Covid restrictions and bad weather, Saddleworth’s famous charity Santa Dash became a joyful scramble.
The virtual event extravaganza is being spread over a week and ends this Saturday, December 5.
Organised by ace fundraisers, Saddleworth Round Table, entrants undertook their own 2km or 5km Santa Dash during the week and created their own routes.
“The response to this year's virtual dash has been great,” said John Arthurs, the round table’s chair.
“We managed to get all suits hats and medals out last week.
"We had sold out all 500. Amazing!
"There's been such a great uptake, and lots of donations for the food bank.
"People can still donate until Saturday on our eventbrite page.”
