The Trust is holding elections for eight public governors
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group brings together four local hospitals in Oldham, Salford, Bury and Rochdale, and the Group is looking for dedicated Trust Members who are passionate about health and social care to join their Council of Governors.
The governors are the representatives of public and staff members, and the public as a whole, and play an important role in the governance of the Trust.
As well as representing the interests of members, governor’s responsibilities include seeking assurance from the Board of Directors and helping to shape future priorities and plans.
The Trust is holding elections for eight public governors in the following constituencies:
Salford (3 seats)
Bury & Rochdale (3 seats)
Oldham (2 seats)
Nominations open on Friday (August 14).
The closing date for nominations is September 1, 2020 at 5pm.
If you are interested in standing for election, you must be a member of the Trust and live in one of the respective public constituencies.
In the current circumstances, the Trust is encouraging nomination submissions to be made online.
