Oldham Mountain Rescue Team
A13 strong team from Oldham Mountain Rescue took to the hills in a search for a missing person.
The team received a request from GMP on Monday morning for assistance with a search in the Dovestones area.
However, on arrival the NPAS helicopter, which had also been tasked, spotted a person who fitted the description of the missing person at Wimberry Rocks, known locally as Indian's Head.
GMP officers and OMRT personnel were quickly dispatched up the hill and made contact with the male. After a short chat, he was accompanied back down to be taken for onward care.
