Gearing up for Sgt Dom's very special online VE Day variety show
Date published: 06 May 2020
Dom will be putting together a virtual version of his 1940s variety show on Friday
Popular local entertainer Dominic Collins will be getting firmly into the VE Day spirit this Friday, May 8, as the nation comes together to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Britain's landmark achievement.
Dom will be putting together a virtual version of his 1940s variety show dressed as his character, Sgt Dom.
Billed as a 'street party in your own house', Sgt Dom hopes to entice viewers of all ages to watch his show, which will feature classic songs, good, clean comedy sketches, dressing up and even recipes.
Dom told us: "Because I have had my very busy diary cancelled, I will be doing this show direct from my living room in Failsworth."
Sgt Dom's 1940s variety show can be viewed, from 3pm on Friday, on the Manchester Isolation Group's dedicated page on Facebook, so don't miss it!
