MSL have volunteered to light up building across the borough
A local production company in Oldham has donated all their equipment to lighting up buildings blue across the borough.
Aaron is the owner of MSL and said:
"Due to covid-19 we have lost all our work until November.
"You may have seen some blue buildings around the town, as we are out of work we have donated all of our equipment to show our support as a town to the NHS and key workers.
"We started off lighting the Oldham leisure centre blue and since then we have found more and more locations and now light Oldham Sports Centre, Oldham Civic tower and most recently Oldham Parish Church.
"We thought rather than our equipment sitting in our warehouse, what better than to do this, the response and appreciation has been amazing."
The lighting can be seen every Thursday from 8pm until 2.30am until the end of the pandemic.
